名古屋 ; 請求記号:文庫10 8076 9 ; 2枚 ; 13×37cm ; 名古屋の御園町の遊廓いろは樓での心中事件を伝えた瓦版。樓の女もとめとなじみになったとみじろうは、許されぬ恋路とピストル(ろっぱつ)で心中をはかった。御園町の名前は明治4年に下園町、南園町となり消えるが、事件はこのころのものか。 ; Nagoya ; This news-sheet reports on a suicide of lovers at the Iroharo House of the Misonocho pleasure quarters in Nagoya. A client by the name of Tomijiro had fallen in love with Motome, a woman of the house. In despair because they could not marry, they committed double suicide using a pistol. The district name Misonocho was abolished in 1871, not long after the Meiji Restoration of 1868, and the man has a modern hairstyle, so the incident apparently occurred about that time.
