文政年間 ; 請求記号:文庫10 8054 1 ; 1枚 ; 34×47cm ; 相撲の番付に模した諷刺。東西の大関(この頃は横綱は名誉称号)「茶屋のかきだしかいてやってかんざましのまされてすいがる人」と「よいとしをしてかんかんおどりする人」である。ひとつひとつ見ていくと、位付けに関係なく思わずふきだしてしまうものがある。 ; Bunsei era (1818-29) ; 1 sheet ; This is a satirical ranking of foolish fellows following the model of the sumo banzuke chart (showing the current rank of the wrestlers). The ozeki (then the champion or highest sumo rank; yokozuna, or grand champion, was an honorary rank) fools for East and West are, respectively, "the man who thinks it is chic to scribble out a ranking list of wrestlers for a chaya and then drink no-longer-warm hot sake," and "an old man doing the can-can dance." The notations for some of the rankings are quite amusing.
