Confirmation of status of books you are currently borrowing and placing on hold, as well as renewal of borrowing periods can be done online.How to Renew the Due Date
Borrowing periods for library materials can be renewed using the "View Your Record" function. Borrowing periods can be extended only twice between five days prior to the due date and the due date. Please note that materials cannot be renewed if the materials are placed on hold by other users or user's library privileges have been suspended- How to Renew the Due Date (In Japanese Only)
How to Place a Hold
Library materials can be placed on hold through WINE. This is limited to books that are currently checked out and/or on hold. To reserve library materials, please click the "Request" button on WINE and follow the instructions on the screen.- How to Place a Hold (In Japanese Only)

This service is available to students, full-time faculty & staff, part-time lecturers, and library card (green) holders at Waseda University.
