  • Books are arranged by the call number in the open stack of basement 1 and the Expansion stack of basement 2.
  • In the same call number, books are arranged in order from foreign books to Japanese books.

Open Stack Go to the shelves directly. First Foreign and then Japanese, sorted by call numbers.
Reference Corner (B1F) Go to the shelves directly. First Foreign and then Japanese, sorted by call numbers.
Additional Stack (B2F) Go to the shelves directly. Sorted by call numbers.
Closed Stack Consult at the counter.
Honjo Deposit Library Consult at the counter.
Students' Reading Room(Bldg.No.52) Go to the shelves directly.

“Proceedings” are published in many formats such as books, journals, and reports. Please search WINE using author, title, and keyword. When you cannot find the materials, please consult at the counter.
Japanese proceedings are often published in journals.

  • Foreign journals are arranged by title in alphabetical order, ignoring the conjunctions and articles.
     Ex. Journal (of) (the) Chemical Society
     are arranged as Journal Chemical Society.
  • Foreign journals whose title start with the abbreviations such as AIAA, IEEE are arranged at the top of each alphabet.
  • When you want to use the journals stored in Honjo Deposit Library, please request through Online requests As for the person who are not able to use online requests, please ask at the information desk.
  • Journals are usually bound in summer vacation period. You cannot use the journals which status is "To bind" in WINE. Please consult at the counter when you want to use them.
